Yeah, I thought I might as well share my bad homemade sets with you people. Anywho, since I've grown to quite enjoy Burungeru (aka Jellicent) over my OU experiences as a spin-blocker, wall, etc. Thus, I eventually made up my own set for him, which I've been using ever since. Use it or not, it's up to you.

I don't exactly understand how this should work, but I feel like I should explain it a bit. The given EVs allow it to function as both a physical and special wall quite well. With the minor speed investment, Buru is capable of outspeeding threats like Scizor, Blissey, Chansey, Forretress, etc. and Taunting/burning them accordingly. Surf is the obligatory stab, hitting pokes for some damage. I run Will-o-Wisp and Surf over Scald because I find it somewhat odd to bet on a 30% secondary effect when you have a guaranteed option available (provided it hits, of course). Taunt is an essential to this set, preventing opponents from setting up or trying to inflict a status upon Buru (Blissey and Chnasey are quite common switch-ins to him, and when functioning as a spin-blocker, you will often encounter Donphan and Forretress). Lastly, Recover allows him to possess very appreciated longevity, allowing him to outlive several threats.

Well, Espeon/Xatu can check the first 4 pretty easy, and Heatran can get checked by quite a lot (Buru included :3). As for ThunderBro, there really isn't a set-in-stone counter for him anywhere

Taunt completely ruins this set. Perhaps an attacking move (surf, scald, shadow ball, etc.) over Protect? I can see this being a viable TR set up, but it does have its weaknesses.
