Re: IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ
As much as I love "going to war", I think I'll have to pass .-. I'm not satisfied with any of my teams right now, am I'm not that good anyway, so my lack of attendance won't matter too much.
The Perfect Storm
Cool, I'll definitely sign up
(This is Copy-Pasted straight from the Rate My Team section of Serebii, so if you want me to shorten it I can)
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Politoed (M) @ Zoom Lens
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Hydro Pump
- Blizzard
- Focus Blast
- Hypnosis
The first key piece to getting Thundurus a
successful sweep by setting up the Rain. I saw this set suggested by
UserName on Smogon and decided to add it into my team, as it's
completely genius. I know what you're thinking, why make him super
slow? Well, it allows him to get Rain up before other Weather-setters
(the slower Pokemon's weather overrules the fasters) and makes him be
able to use the Zoom Lens to increase the accuracy of his most powerful
moves. It boosts accuracy by 20 percent, making Hydro Pump have 100
accuracy, Blizzard and Focus Blast have 90 and hypnosis have 80. A
wonderful set that hits everything hard.
Synergy Check:
Grass-- Dragonite, Jirachi, Toxicroak
Electric-- Most of my other Pokes can take an electric hit and set-up on the Pokemon
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Toxicroak (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Sucker Punch
- Drain Punch
- Swords Dance
My little buddy from the 4th gen who worked so
well in tandem with Houndoom last gen in UU. But those times are
behind us and Toxicroak now has found a substantial niche in OU with
Politoed as his new partner in crime. He usually switches in on a
resisted attack and proceeds to set up a Sub, easing my prediction a
little bit and healing half of the damage with Dry Skin. Then it's a
simple Swords Dance and then sweep. Drain Punch for STAB and Recovery
and Sucker Punch for Priority and fantastic coverage with Drain Punch. He counters the Rock types that give Thundurus a Headache (such as Tyranitar).
Synergy Check:
Psychic-- Jirachi, Starmie
Ground-- Dragonite, Thundurus
Flying-- Jirachi
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Thundurus (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Nasty Plot
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
Thundurus hits like a truck and has the most
trollish Speed Stat ever in 111. Let me put that in perspective: Lati@s
have 110 Speed, as does Gengar, and
countless other huge threats to this team. Thundurus comes in on a
Resisted move or an Earthquake and, after a Nasty Plot, can sweep entire
teams. Thunder is a huge and accurate STAB
in the Rain and deals out huge damage even to Pokes that resist it.
Hidden Power [Ice] for pseudo-BoltBeam coverage and Focus Blast to
round out the coverage and happens to be this team's only check to
Ferrothorn (I could use another).
Synergy Check:
Rock-- Toxicroak, Jirachi
Ice-- Jirachi, Starmie
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Power Whip
Ferrothorn is a fantastic addition to the team as he
provides Rocks and more general Bulk. He is also One of my only counters
to Bulky waters that take advantages of my Rain. Quite a Standard, but
effective set.
Synergy Check:
Fire-- My entire team basically counters Fire
Fighting-- Starmie, Thundurus, Toxicroak
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Starmie @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Thunder
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
My Spinner who helps keep Thundurus'
switch-ins safe from Stealth Rocks. I originally thought that Starmie
was to frail to be part of my defensive core, but then I looked at it's
60/85/85 defenses, which could be better, but aren't terrible. Recover
just in case Starmie needs to Spin more than once and Hydro Pump and
Thunder for some nice offensive options after Starmie has finished
Spinning.
Synergy Check:
Electric-- (Look at Politoed)
Grass-- Jirachi, Dragonite
Bug-- Dragonite, Thundurus
Dark-- Toxicroak
Ghost-- Jirachi (can counter most Ghosts)
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Thunder
What is this?! A Jirachi that doesn't try
to Flinch the Opponent to death?! This set provides a fantastic
surprise factor and can do some serious damage. Since HaxRachi is so
prevalent, the opponent will most likely switch out to an appropriate
counter to it, and be utterly flabbergasted when I set up a Sub. Then
it's up to just a few Calm Minds and I will be able to sweep with a
STAB Psychic and an accurate Thunder, which has a 60% chance of
Paralysis with Serene Grace.
Synergy Check:
Ground-- Dragonite, Thundurus
No Fire Weakness cause of rain [Only admins are allowed to see this image]

Lets give our teams away to our enemies! -_-
Anyways, I don't think this should be a signup event. I think the best of the best should enter, and the community chooses that.

Re: IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ
I agree with Sweetie. You should add a Poll and have the Community vote on people to enter.

Game On!
I'm in! Let's go!
My Team:
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Skarm/Blissey@Focus Sash
Serene Grace
~Stealth Rock
~Toxic
~Seismic Toss
~Psychic
This is my Lead. I basically made a Blissey meant to mess up the opponents lead. The Focus Sash is to prevent any OHKO's with T-Tar and Scizor Leads. That way, I can at least get off Stealth Rock before it faints. Since I really only plan for my Blissey to be a 1-3 turn lead, there wasn't really a point to giving it Healer or Natural Cure. With Serene Grace, at least I get the added chance of lowering the opponents Sp.Def with Psychic.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Colossus/Gliscor@ Toxic Orb
Poison Heal
~Swords Dance
~Night Slash
~EQ
~Brick Break
Ah, Gliscor. My favorite of the team. As you can see, I went for the Poison Heal/Toxic Orb combo. This is mainly because, originally, I had Roost instead of Brick Break. By utilizing the PH/TO combo, I free up a space for another move. Lead with a Swords Dance and it's all over. EQ for STAB, Night Slash's high critical ratio, and Brick Break's Type coverage complete the set for a massive amount of Physical damage. He is meant, as you could have guessed, to be a physical sweeper.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Joestar(love that game!)/Breloom@ Life Orb
Effect Spore
~Stone Edge
~Seed Bomb
~Rock Slide
~Drain Punch
I am particularly proud of my Breloom. He is the second, and last, Physical Sweeper of my team. Here's the idea:Drain Punch gets an added 1.5 damage boost thanks to STAB. Add that to the boost of Life Orb and you're looking at about 105 Base Power. Seed Bomb's BP is 155 which can lead to a disgustingly huge amount of damage. Stone Edge for type coverage and Rock Slide for when I don't need to use one of the 5 PP Stone Edge has to take out a pesky Fire- or Flying- Type. Oh, and one moar thing, Effect Spore*Hehe Troll Face*(although I don't like to rey on silly gimmicks, but I didn't have much of a choice). Technician doesn't do anything for me as none of my moves have a Base Power of 60 or less, and Poison Heal would mean giving up my Life Orb and lowering it's move's Power.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Bevelle/Cloyster@White Herb
Skill Link
~Shell Smash
~Icicle Spear
~Rock Blast
~Poison Jab
Plain and Simple. Skill Link for a guaranteed 4-5 hits for Rock Blast and Icicle Spear(And don't forget the STAB!), White Herb to repair Shelldon's Defense and SpDef after the lead Shell Smash. Poison Jab is just a great move due to its high BP and good chance for added Poison.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
T.E.C./Magnezone@ Air Balloon
Sturdy
~Toxic
~TDBolt
~Flash Cannon
~HP Water
Also fairly simple. TDBolt and Flash Cannon provide excellent STAB, HP Water for Type Coverage against Ground- and Fire- Types. Toxic is just to further mess up your team. Air Balloon provides protection from Ground attacks, but in case of Smack Down or Gravity (or any physical move), HP Water to take 'em out.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Ness/Espeon@ Life Orb
Magic Bounce
~Psychic
~Shadow Ball
~HP Fighting
~Calm Mind
Espeon is my Special Sweeper. Psychic STAB + Life Orb = 175 Base Power(OMG! DEATH! >;3). HP Fighting for Type Coverage. Shadow Ball for moar Type Coverage. Calm Mind for starting attack. It's probably going to be faster with a Max Speed Stat and Timid Nature for a Speed of 349. This thing can destroy most Pokemon who try to oppose it.
