Gohan (Houndoom) (M) @ Leftovers
- Sunny Day
- Flamethrower
- SolarBeam
- Crunch
Houndoom is a great Pokemon to use in GSC because of it's dangerous movepool. He gets Sunny Day which boosts Flamethrower and let's Solarbeam hit without wasting a turn. Crunch is special in GSC which helps a lot because of Houndoom's high sp atk + STAB.

Vegeta (Marowak) (M) @ Thick Club
- Earthquake
- Submission
- Rock Slide
- Body Slam
Ah, Marowak. Very commonly used in GSC. Thick Club gives it's attack such a boost. Earthquake for the STAB of course. Submission for Blissey. Rock Slide for the bird trio. Body Slam is just a filler but if it paralyzes the foe, very useful for Marowak.

Yajirobe (Snorlax) (M) @ Leftovers
- Curse
- Body Slam
- Fire Blast
- Rest
Ah yes, Snorlax. Possibly the best Pokemon in the whole GSC tier. Snorlax will wall special moves no matter what and with Curse, it will wall Physical moves. Fire Blast is to deal with Skarmory and the STAB Body Slam will lay a smack down on anything in his way. Rest is to heal up after Curses. Such a beast!

Piccolo (Tyranitar) (M) @ Leftovers
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Fire Blast
Not much to say here. Tyranitar is a tank in GSC. High stats in every aspect. Curse to raise attack and defense, EQ and Rock Slide to destroy Pokemon all day, and Fire Blast to take out Skarmory.

Majin Buu (Slowbro) (M) @ Leftovers
- Psychic
- Amnesia
- Ice Beam
- Surf
My moveset on Slowbro is very questionable. I gave it Amnesia to make it bulky in both defenses. Surf and Psychic for the STAB damage. Ice Beam for the ever popular Dragonite. If you hate, umadbro.

Goku (Machamp) (M) @ Leftovers
- Cross Chop
- Curse
- Fire Blast
- Rest
Perhaps the best fighting type in GSC, Machamp destroys everything in it's way. Curse to boost that Cross Chop and his defense. Rest to heal in between Curses. And by now, you should know why he has Fire Blast. A total monster in GSC.

cool stuff bro, putting up a Gen 2 team. Keep in mind I haven't played some competitive GSC for a couple months now, so I may be a bit rusty Razz

Houndoom is a pretty solid poke, and it works fairly well for fending off common Leads. However, I would run Hp Grass over Solarbeam on Houndoom, as Rhydon otherwise walk all over this guy. Also, I wouldn't recommend Sunny Day, it isn't all too viable in Gen 2 :/ Try Pursuit, it works well for trapping pokes like Alakazam, as well as scaring Gengar into Exploding/Dynamicpunching.

<3 Marowak. Ever since I won my first tourney with him on teh Beta Server he's been thrown onto most of my teams Razz Anywho, since u don't look like you have much intention of running a SD/Curse set I'd only suggest running Hp Bug over Submission, it doesn't do too much for u. Hp Bug on the other hand can help you hit Grass types hard, including the ever-popular Exeggutor.

Cuz he's fat :3 But yeah, everyone runs Snorlax haha, his big guy was a pinnacle of the Gen 2 metagame (as awkward as it was Razz). Anywho, even in the hypothetical case that you have maintained sunny weather your Fire Blast is going to be doing much off Snorlax's miniscule sp.atk stat. Misdreavus could easily Perish-Trap him and be done with it. Try EQ and simply using Houndoom to scare off Skarm and such Razz

Now Ttar can viably run Fire Blast, playing off his more respectable Sp.atk. No real objections to the set itself, looks pretty solid.

I hate to hate, but I'm not loving Amnesia :/ Right now, Slowbro appears to server as your check to threats like Machamp and such, and adding sp.def to him doesn't help too much :/ I'd say try Twave/Toxic if anything.

Ayte, at this point its kinda overkill :/ Machamp doesn't really coverage any particular red areas on your team, and again, Fire Blast isn't all that viable. So I dunno, maybe try a Rest-Talk Zapdos? It's quite bulky, and many Fighting threats don't appreciate a Drill Peck or two.

Anywho, looks like a solid team, save dat recurring Fighting weakness .-. So like I mentioned, try running a simple Rest-Talk Zpados and see how it works for ya, and hope I was of help

Yeah I've noticed my Fighting weakness. And Submission Marowak helps against the ever popular Blissey. I shall try the Zapdos idea because I just love Zapdos. And about the Snorlax, if I got off the max number of Curses and the opponent sends out Skarm, I wouldn't want to switch and lose all my boosts. Fire Blast helps me take down Skarm so my sweep can continue... Unless of course Skarm lives and Whirlwinds Lax out of there. Thanks for the suggestions!
